Middlesex Magic: THE BOWEN TOUCH

Middlesex Magic: THE BOWEN TOUCH

THE BOWEN TOUCH

Bowen Therapy ?
                         Whats that?
 Bowen Therapy.
Its a hands on remedial therapy which uses gentle pressure to specific muscles and soft tissues of the body. The skilled practitioner with thumbs and fingers, uses a rolling type move which brings a stimulus reaction to the muscle. This in turn alerts the brain which makes subtle adjustments to relieve pain and improves function of movement. The body is unique, it can repair itself, however with all the stresses, worries, posture, diet, the list can go on and on. The body can create its own hurdles to prevent messages from the brain to the thousands of adjustments needed for our wellbeing. Bowen Therapy can reset, repair, balance, relieve pain, function improvement and energy. The light touch, subtle pressure, that are done in {sets of 4 or more moves}, which can have some outstanding results. Bowen Therapy treats the body as a whole, the holistic way,  once the body is balanced then repair can really begin.
                                                                   The journey begins.

sciatica / pain in the butt

Sciatica, a right pain in the butt. The sciatic nerve goes from the lower back, though the buttock down the thigh, leg and foot. Sometimes a shooting pain can happen from the top of the thigh straight to the top of the foot.
If a slipped disc occurs, then a shooting pain, tingleing, pins and needles, even a dead leg, or numbness in the leg and foot can happen. It can take a long time to recover, weeks or even months. Bowen Therapy and Emmett Technique can speed recovery / healing time quicker than some traditional methods. The power of these therapies, plus gentle simple exercises, 15 to 20min per day, should enhance the recovery time, some people quicker than others. These simple but precise moves that include breaks / pauses, or 20 second delays can really start the healing and the adjustments that the body needs to take. Its all about having the right keys to undo the locks, Some of the results are truly amazing, some clients cannot believe so much can happen with these light, gentle moves.
